Scope

Information Security is very important research area that should be investigated well. The aim of this workshop is that to present innovative research and techniques related to Information Security including Applied Cryptography, Computer System Security, Network Security and related research areas and to provide opportunity to discuss future research issues on the research areas among Asian Information Security Lab members.

The workshop seeks original contributions in all relevant areas, including but not limited to the following topics.

Venue

WAIS2018 will be held at the Science Hall (科学会堂) of the Central China Normal University (华中师范大学), which is located in Wuhan, China. CCNU is a comprehensive university directly under the administration of the Chinese Ministry of Education. The campus of over 330 acres is on Guizi Hill, bordering South Lake. It is one of the schools included in the Project 211, and is also funded by the Project 985. CCNU, along with East China Normal University and Beijing Normal University are the top three normal universities in mainland China.

Hotel

Gui Yuan Hotel (桂苑宾馆) is located inside the Central China Normal University campus. It is about 1,000 meters away from the main entry gate of the University, which is about 12 minutes on foot. Campus shuttle can take you there from the main entry of the University, which will cost you 2CNY. Please also refer to the map below for the detailed location.

Access to the Venue:

From Wuhan Tianhe International Airport(T3)

  • Metro: Take the Line 2 at Tianhe Airport and get off at the Guangbu Tun Station Exit A (广埠屯), which will take around 70 minunites. The map below shows you how to walk from Exit A to the Guiyuan hotel. It will take you another 12 minutes and most of the distance is covered inside the CCNU campus.
  • Taxi: Ask the driver to take you directly to the Guiyuan Hotel. It will take you around 150 CNY, and please prepare cash in advance. You can show the following message to the driver: "麻烦请带我去华中师范大学桂苑宾馆,请从华中师范大学东门(卓刀泉南路)进入。"

We strongly recommand you to download the mobile app "Baidu Map", which has the detailed map information as well as the navigation function. Notice that Google Map is not accessible in China.
